Seeing

Having to voice my concerns and raise issues for me today was a tad bit unexpected.
Actually, i felt more like.... in this vacuum between knowing that He is in control, but yet struggling with the seeming "facts" which are prevalent.
Contrary to popular belief... i think that seeing is not believing. Believing is seeing.
When u believe, u will see.
SEEING with our human eyes diverts our attention, devotion, or ur expectations.
We calculate, plan, scrutinise..... all based on what we see... in this earthly realm.

But seeing Jesus... whoa... that's a different thing altogether.

I seek to see Him. but many times i just wanna see results. i wanna see the physical things change, wanna see people change, things turn for the better. Isnt' it human? to trust in the tangible, material and human-ness of this world? You see, that's where i fail. Thats' when i know that it is not the things that i can see which will last forever... it's the things unseen.

"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Cor 4:16

It's the friendships, family, relationships... the trust, hope, love, care, fellowship.... it's those intangible links, the faith in this unseen grace of God. That will bring us through.

Safe in a crazy world.
Yes i am. Safe.
